Flower & Ice Bowl
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Place 1-quart bowl inside 3-quart bowl.
Arrange flowers around outside of 1-quart bowl.
The more flowers used, the more colorful the bowl.
Carefully fill 3-quart bowl with water, covering flowers as much as possible and gently pushing flowers down, if needed.
Place a weight in 1-quart bowl or tape 1-quart bowl to 3-quart bowl with packing tape, if needed to keep 1-quart bowl from floating out of 3-quart bowl.
Cover with 2 layers of plastic food wrap.
Place in freezer; freeze at least 24 hours.
Gently unmold ice bowl by dipping 3-quart bowl in very warm water and filling 1-quart bowl with very warm water.
Wrap with plastic food wrap; store in freezer until needed.
To serve, place ice bowl on tray or plate with edge.
Folded towel or paper towels can be placed under ice bowl to absorb water and keep bowl from sliding; drain tray as needed.
Fill bowl with assorted fruit, salads, dips, etc.
Decorate base of ice bowl with additional flowers or ivy.
