Southern Fried Oysters

Ingredients
  Egg 1
  Milk 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Oysters 1 Pint
  Self rising cornmeal 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Combine egg, milk, flour and salt; beat until smooth.
Dip oysters in batter then roll in cornmeal.
Fry in hot deep fat until golden brown.
