Cooking Southern Fried Chicken

Ingredients
  Chicken breasts 5
  Onion powder To Taste
  Garlic powder To Taste
  Italian seasoning To Taste
  Salt and pepper To Taste
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For deep frying)
Directions

GETTING READY
1. In an iron skillet, preheat the oil.

MAKING
2. Sprinkle the chicken breast with onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper on both the sides.
3. Roll the chicken in flour, and coat it evenly on all the sides, tap to remove excess flour.
4. Carefully place the chicken, in hot oil and let it fry for about 5 minutes, flip and fry for another 5 minutes. Continue to cook for 4 to 6 minutes flipping the chicken once more or until it turns golden brown in color.
5. Remove and drain on kitchen paper.

SERVING
6. Serve hot as desired.

uuh dave by chance would you happen to know a wet battering for frying chicken.one day on tv there was a show on about some restaurants in new orleans,i cant remember the name of the place but they of course would not give their secret ingreds of course but it came out looking so gooood! it looked lite not too thick of batter i know you mentioned how u like things pretty easy pretty simple so,just wondering get back to me please soon and let me know.thanks
