Chilled Grapefruit Fizz
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Canned frozen grapefruit juice concentrate||6 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Ginger ale||28 Ounce (1 Bottle)|
|Green food coloring||2 Drop (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
|Ice cubes||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
|Lemon||1 , cut into 6 slices|
1. Combine sugar, water, allspice and the cloves in a medium-size saucepan; bring to boiling, then simmer 5 minutes. Strain into a large pitcher; cool.
2. Stir in frozen grapefruit-juice concentrate until thawed, then add ginger ale and a few drops food coloring to tint green.
3. Pour over ice cubes in 6 tall glasses; garnish each with a slice of lemon and a maraschino cherry.
