Chilled Grapefruit Fizz's picture
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Whole allspice 3
  Whole cloves 3
  Canned frozen grapefruit juice concentrate 6 Ounce (1 Can)
  Ginger ale 28 Ounce (1 Bottle)
  Green food coloring 2 Drop (Adjust Quantity As Needed)
  Ice cubes 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)
  Lemon 1 , cut into 6 slices
  Maraschino cherries 6

1. Combine sugar, water, allspice and the cloves in a medium-size saucepan; bring to boiling, then simmer 5 minutes. Strain into a large pitcher; cool.
2. Stir in frozen grapefruit-juice concentrate until thawed, then add ginger ale and a few drops food coloring to tint green.
3. Pour over ice cubes in 6 tall glasses; garnish each with a slice of lemon and a maraschino cherry.
