Seasoned Maryland Crab Cakes
|White bread slice||2 , crusts removed|
|Milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Crab meat||1 Pound, flaked (Use Fresh Or Frozen And Thawed)|
|Green onions||3 , chopped|
|Mayonnaise||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Dry mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Cayenne pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Lemon juice||1⁄2 Tablespoon (Extracted From 1/2 Fruit)|
|Peanut oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Place bread in bowl and cover with milk. Soak 5 minutes.
Squeeze out excess milk from bread and place in clean bowl. Add remaining ingredients to bread and mix well. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours.
Shape mixture into thick pancakes. Cook in hot peanut oil over medium heat, about 4 to 5 minutes or until nicely browned.
Serve with fresh lemon.
