Heavenly Hawaiian Cream

Ingredients
  Canned pineapple tidbits 20 Ounce (1 can, No.2 size / 2 1/2 cups)
  Marshmallows 1⁄4 Pound, cut in eighths (16 pieces)
  Maraschino cherries 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), well drained, cut in fourths
  Whipping cream 1 Cup (16 tbs), whipped
  Slivered blanched almonds 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Shredded coconut 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Drain the pineapple tidbits, reserving 1/4 cup of the syrup.
Combine pineapple, cut marsh-mallows, cherries, and reserved 1/4 cup pineapple syrup.
Let mixture stand 1 hour.
Fold in whipped cream.
Spoon into dessert dishes and chill.
To serve, sprinkle with nuts and top with coconut.
