Heavenly Hawaiian Cream
|Canned pineapple tidbits||20 Ounce (1 can, No.2 size / 2 1/2 cups)|
|Marshmallows||1⁄4 Pound, cut in eighths (16 pieces)|
|Maraschino cherries||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), well drained, cut in fourths|
|Whipping cream||1 Cup (16 tbs), whipped|
|Slivered blanched almonds||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Shredded coconut||2 Tablespoon|
Drain the pineapple tidbits, reserving 1/4 cup of the syrup.
Combine pineapple, cut marsh-mallows, cherries, and reserved 1/4 cup pineapple syrup.
Let mixture stand 1 hour.
Fold in whipped cream.
Spoon into dessert dishes and chill.
To serve, sprinkle with nuts and top with coconut.
