Best Chicken Hawaiian

Ingredients
  Onions 6 , sliced
  Sliced celery 3 Quart
  Shortening 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Canned bean sprouts 7 Pound (7 cans, 1 pound each)
  Finely diced cooked chicken 2 1⁄2 Quart
  Chicken bouillon cubes 12
  Hot water 2 1⁄4 Quart
  Soy sauce 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Cornstarch 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Cold water 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Precooked rice 6 Cup (96 tbs) (packaged)
  Chow mein noodles 2 Cup (32 tbs) (adjust quantity as needed)
Directions

Cook onion and celery in shortening in large kettle for 10 minutes.
Add bean sprouts and liquid, chicken, and bouillon dissolved in hot water.
Bring to boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add soy sauce.
Stir in cornstarch blended with cold water.
Cook, stirring, until thickened.
Season and serve rice prepared as directed on package, and noodles.
