Cold Oven Popovers
|Vegetable oil spray||1|
|Vegetable oil||3 Tablespoon (Of Your Choice)|
|Margarine||1 Tablespoon, melted (Of Your Choice)|
|Skim milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sifted all purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Lightly spray 12 large or 18 medium custard cups with vegetable oil.
In a bowl, beat egg whites lightly with a fork.
Add oil, margarine and milk.
With flour and salt in a large mixing bowl, add liquid mixture gradually, beating with an electric mixer until well blended: Then mix on high speed for 1 to 2 minutes.
Fill each custard cup half full of batter and place in a cold oven.
Turn oven on to 400° F and leave popovers in 45 to 60 minutes, or until a light golden color.
