1. Put butter, green pepper and green onion into a 9-inch glass pie plate. Cook uncovered in microwave oven 3 minutes at HIGH, or until green pepper is soft; stir after 1 minute.
2. Beat eggs slightly in a bowl and mix in salt, pepper, pimento and ham. Pour into pie plate. Cover with plastic wrap.
3. Cook in microwave oven 4 to 5 minutes at ROAST, or until almost set. Draw cooked portions toward the center with a spoon or fork to allow uncooked mixture to flow to bottom; tilt pie plate as necessary, but do not stir.
4. Remove omelet from oven and fold in half. Allow to stand covered a few minutes before serving.
