Williamsburg Inn Southern Pecan Pie Filling
|For pecan filling|
|Yellow sugar||1 Pound|
|Pecans||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted|
Stir eggs lightly.
Beat in' slowly the sugar and butter which has been melted.
Add salt and vanilla.
Line pie plate with pastry and sprinkle 1/2 of the pecans over the bottom.
Pour mixture into the unbaked pie shell.
Sprinkle remaining pecans over the top
