Creole Tomato Sauce
|Canned okra||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Large, chopped|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), chopped|
|Green pepper||1 Medium, seeded and chopped|
|Safflower oil||3 Teaspoon|
|Tomato sauce||8 Ounce (Plain Or Hot)|
Saute okra, onion, garlic, and green pepper in the oil until onion is soft.
Add tomato sauce, mix well, and heat.
Variation: For a thicker sauce for pizza, stir 1 tsp of potato flour or 2 tsp of barley flour (or 2 tsp of wheat flour if allowed) into the sauteed vegetables.
