  90% lean ground beef 8 Ounce
  Chopped onion 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Canned low sodium tomatoes 7 1⁄4 Ounce, cut up (1/2 Of 14 1/2 Ounce Can)
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Oat bran 2 Tablespoon
  Vinegar 1 Tablespoon
  Brown sugar 2 Teaspoon
  Chili powder 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Bottled hot pepper sauce 1 Dash
  Hamburger buns 5 , split and toasted

In a large skillet cook meat, onion, and garlic till meat is brown.
Drain off fat.
Stir in the undrained tomatoes, the water, oat bran, vinegar, brown sugar, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and hot pepper sauce.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
If necessary, uncover and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes more or till mixture is the desired consistency.
