|Chicken stock||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (Homemade Or Canned)|
|Canned chunk chicken||6 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Frozen okra/8 ounces fresh okra||7 Ounce, washed, trimmed, and cut into 1/4-inch rounds|
|Canned tomatoes||16 Ounce, undrained (1 Can)|
|Gumbo file||1 Tablespoon (Available In Specialty Shops)|
Combine all ingredients together in a large saucepan and bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until sauce is slightly thickened.
