Utterly Deadly Southern Pecan Pie
|Southern cane syrup||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (Or Corn Syrup)|
|Pecans||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), coarsely broken|
|White sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Boil sugar and syrup together for 2 to 3 minutes.
Beat eggs, not too stiff, and slowly pour the hot syrup into the eggs.
Add butter, vanilla, and pecan meats.
Turn into unbaked pie shell and bake in moderate oven about 45 minutes, or until set.
