Apple Peach Cobbler
|Sliced peeled peaches/Frozen unsweetened peach slices, thawed||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Tart apple||1 Medium, peeled and thinly sliced|
|Sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Packed brown sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Ground cinnamon||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground nutmeg||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Cold butter||2 Tablespoon|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vanilla ice cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients.
Spoon into a greased shallow 2-qt.baking dish.
For topping, in a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Cut in butter until crumbly.
Stir in milk just until blended.
Drop by spoonfuls over peach mixture.
Bake at 400° for 25-30 minutes or until filling is bubbly and topping is golden brown.
