Southern Hot Egg Bread

Ingredients
  Cornmeal 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Soda 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2 , beaten
  Sour milk/Buttermilk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Melted shortening/Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Combine dry ingredients; add eggs, milk, and shortening.
Mix well.
Pour into a greased 8-inch square pan; bake at 425° for 20 to 30 minutes.
