Hot And Sweet Coleslaw

Ingredients
  Cider vinegar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Olive oil 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Salt To Taste
  Red cabbage head 1 Medium, cored and finely shredded
  Sweet onion 1 , halved and thinly sliced
  Serrano chiles 2 , finely chopped
  Freshly ground pepper To Taste
Directions

1. In a large bowl, whisk together vinegar, oil, sugar, garlic and 1 teaspoon salt. Set aside until sugar dissolves.
2. Add cabbage, onion and chiles; toss gently to mix.Taste, adding salt and pepper as needed
