Baked Molasses Ginger Snaps

Ingredients
  Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), melted
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Molasses 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs), sifted
  Soda 1 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Beat shortening and sugar together until well blended.
Add egg and beat again.
Stir in molasses.
Sift flour, soda, ginger, cinnamon and salt together into first mixture and blend well.
Chill a few minutes.
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Shape dough into small balls, 1 inch in diameter, and put on un-greased cookie sheets.
Bake about 12 minutes or until set and cracked on top.
