Southwestern Rice

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Chopped onion 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Chili pepper 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped
  Rice 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Branded)
  Condensed beef broth/Condensed chicken consomme 10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)
  Water 10 3⁄4 Ounce (1 Soup Can)
  Cumin seeds 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Chopped black olives 1 Tablespoon
  Avocado slices 6 (For Garnish)
Directions

In a large saucepan, melt butter or margarine.
Add onion, chili pepper and rice.
Cook, stirring often until lightly browned.
Add broth or consomme', water, cumin seeds, salt and Worcestershire sauce.
Bring to a boil and cover tightly.
Simmer 20 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Let stand, covered, until all liquid is absorbed, about 5 minutes.
Sprinkle with olives.
Garnish with avocado slices.
