American Persimmon Pie

Also knows as Kaki,this Persimmon Pie sure does taste like great.As persimmon is known as Food for God,once you taste this Persimmon Pie you'll know why.
Ingredients
  Persimmon pulp 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Pastry shell 9 Inch (uncooked)
Directions

Mix persimmon pulp, egg, and milk. Mix sugar, salt, and cornstarch and add
to first mixture. Line 9-inch pie pan with pastry and pour in filling. Bake
at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Then reduce temperature to 350 degrees and
bake 50 to 60 minutes longer.

another pie....But this American Persimmon Pie Recipe is truly wonderful. Now I become a fan of this great dessert. I will surely try this recipe on coming sunday.
