Drop Biscuit Or Madison Biscuit

Ingredients
  Irish potatoes 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Yeast cake 1 Tablespoon, dissolved in 1/2 cup lukewarm water (1 Cake)
  Lukewarm water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Flour 2 Quart
  Eggs/6 egg yolks 3
  Shortening 5 Ounce
Directions

Boil potatoes until done; mash, add 5 ounces shortening; add a little flour to cool potatoes.
Add other ingredients.
The dough should be about the consistency of loaf-bread dough.
Let rise, drop with a spoon far apart in pans.
Let rise again and bake.
