Arkansas Crab Gumbo

Ingredients
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Celery 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Green pepper 2 Tablespoon, finely chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), pressed / minced
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Frozen okra 10 Ounce, partially defrosted and sliced (1 Package)
  Canned stewed tomatoes 14 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Bay leaf 1
  Thyme 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Canned crab meat 6 1⁄2 Ounce, drained and broken (1 Can)
  Cooked rice 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
Directions

Combine onion, celery, green pepper, garlic and butter in 2-quart casserole.
Microwave 3 to 4 minutes on high, or until onion is transparent.
Add okra, tomatoes and seasoning; Cover tightly.
Microwave 12 minutes on high, or until okra is tender and mixture is bubbly.
Remove bay leaf.
Add crab meat.
Cover and let stand 5 minutes.
