Craig's Cajun Shrimp
|Lemon||1 Large, sliced|
|Unpeeled large shrimp||4 Pound|
|Vegetable oil||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Hot sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Minced garlic||1 Tablespoon|
|Olive oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Seafood seasoning||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried basil||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried oregano||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried thyme||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Minced parsley||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Bring water and lemon to boil; add shrimp and cook 5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink.
Drain your shrimp and rinse with cold water.
Chill with ice.
Peel and devein shrimp.
Place shrimp in a large Ziploc bag.
Combine vegetable oil with remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl; mix well.
Pour mixture over shrimp.
Seal bag and gently shake until mixture covers all shrimp.
Marinate in refrigerator for approximately 8 hours.
