Mushroom Salisbury Steak
|Condensed golden mushroom soup||10 3⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Ground beef||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Fine dry bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Finely chopped onion||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , slightly beaten|
|Shortening||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon (Use if necessary) (Optional)|
|Water||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Mix thoroughly 1/2 cup soup, beef, bread crumbs, onion, and egg; shape into 6 patties.
In skillet, brown patties (use shortening if necessary); pour off fat.
Blend in remaining soup and water.
Cover; cook over low heat 20 minutes or until done.
