|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||1 Tablespoon|
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Have all ingredients at room temperature.
Heat oven to 400°F.
Grease eight 5-ounce custard cups thoroughly.
Put all ingredients into blender container in order listed.
Cover; blend at high speed until mixed.
If necessary, stop blender during processing and push ingredients toward blades with rubber spatula.
Fill custard cups half full.
Place on cookie sheet.
Bake 40 minutes, or until deep golden brown; do not open oven door while baking.
Serve at once.
Cheese Popovers Place cubed cheddar, Swiss, or Gruyere cheese in center of each filled custard cup.
Bake as for Popovers.
