Chicken Gumbo With Smoked Sausage
|Chicken||3 Pound, cut up|
|Onion||2 Cup (32 tbs), chopped|
|Green pepper||1 Small, chopped|
|Sweet red pepper||1 Small, chopped|
|All purpose flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Canned chicken broth||21 Ounce (2 Can)|
|Smoked sausage||1 Pound, cut into 1/4 inch slices|
In 3-quart casserole, place chicken and oil.
Microwave at high (10) 10 to 12 minutes; turn chicken over after 5 minutes.
Combine onion, green pepper and red pepper; add to chicken.
Microwave at high (10) 6 to 7 minutes until tender.
Combine flour, chicken broth, salt and pepper; stir until blended.
Pour over chicken and vegetables.
Microwave at high (10) 6 to 8 minutes until thickened.
Microwave at high (10) 3 to 5 minutes until heated.
