Baked Idaho Potatoes
|New potatoes||6 Large, washed and dried|
|Sour cream/Plain yogurt/cottage cheese||125 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)|
|Chives/Fresh parsley||45 Milliliter, chopped (3 Tablespoon)|
|Bacon slice||1 , finely diced or shredded|
1 Preheat the oven to 475°F (250°C).
2 Rub each potato with a little oil.
3 Wrap in a square piece of aluminum foil.
4 Arrange on a baking tray and bake for 40 minutes.
5 You can also choose to wrap the potatoes in microwave proof plastic wrap and microwave on HIGH for 10-12 minutes.
6 Allow to stand for 2 minutes.
7 Carefully remove the foil or plastic wrap.
8 Cut a criss-cross pattern across the top of each potato.
9 Gently squeeze the potato until the top opens.
10 Serve hot as a side dish.
