Classic Waldorf Salad
|Cold water||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Apple||2 Cup (32 tbs), thinly sliced|
|Celery||1 Cup (16 tbs), thinly sliced|
|Walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), coarsely chopped|
|Low calorie mayonnaise||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|2% milk||2 Teaspoon|
Combine water and lemon juice.
Drop apple slices into lemon water; soak for 5 to 10 minutes.
Drain apple pieces and pat with paper towel until slightly dry.
Combine apple, celery and walnuts in a bowl.
In a cup, stir together the mayonnaise and milk; add to the apple mixture and toss to completely coat.
Cover and chill thoroughly.
