Abalone Hawaiian Style
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chicken broth||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Canned abalone||1 Pound, cut in 1-inch pieces (1Can, Reserve Liquid)|
|Green onions||1 Cup (16 tbs), cut in 1-inch pieces|
|Celery||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), diced|
|Water chestnuts||6 , thinly sliced|
|Soy sauce||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|White wine||1 Teaspoon|
Cover mushrooms with water and soak for 2 hours.
Drain and slice.
Heat broth and abalone liquid; add vegetables and simmer 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer until sauce is thick and clear.
