Butter Southern Style Potato Soup

Ingredients
  Onion 1 Large, diced
  Carrots 3 , sliced thin
  Celery stalks 3 , sliced thin
Directions

Saute for 20 minutes.
Start cooking potatoes and vegetables at the same time.
Add vegetables to potatoes and cook for 1/2 hour.
Remove from heat and let set for 10 minutes.
Add 3/4 cup powdered milk.
Stir milk in slowly so it won't curdle.
Add 1 tablespoon dry parsley and 2 tablespoons butter.
