Heat oven to 450° (hot).
Measure flour by dipping method or by sifting.
Beat ingredients together with rotary beater just until smooth.
Overheating will reduce volume.
Pour into well-greased deep muffin cups (3/4 full) or oven-glass cups (1/2 full).
Bake 25 min.; lower oven temperature to 350° (mod.) and bake 15 to 20 min. longer or until deep golden brown.
If not baked long enough, they will collapse.
