|Green pepper||1⁄2 Large, finely chopped|
|Bread crumbs||4 Tablespoon|
|Chopped parsley||1 Tablespoon|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted|
Partially cook the bacon it should still be limp.
Cut into 3 pieces each.
Arrange clams on heated rack, or lay them on a baking sheet.
Salt and pepper if desired.
Mix together the green pepper, bread crumbs, parsley, and butter.
It should resemble a paste.
If too thick, add the bacon fat.
Place a bit of this mixture on each clam.
Place piece of bacon on each.
Broil 5 minutes 2 inches from unit or bake at 400° F for 7-10 minutes.
Do not overcook or clams will be tough.
