So mayo isn€™t hard to find in the supermarket, and there are some really great brands out there. However making it at home for a special occasion is really easy. Don€™t listen to all the tales about it being hard to get the proportions right, you will get this right on the first try.
After you master the basic recipe, make it your own - change up the type of oil, don€™t add mustard, use vinegar instead of lemon juice. I made this in a food processor, but you could use a blender or a whisk and some elbow grease.
