Banana-Nut Kamut Bread
|Eggs||2 , separated|
|Oil||120 Milliliter (1/2 cup)|
|Honey||60 Milliliter (1/4 cup)|
|Bananas||320 Milliliter, mashed (1 1/3 cup)|
|Cream of tartar||1⁄2 Teaspoon (3 ml)|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon (3 ml)|
|Flour||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs) (590 ml)|
|Walnuts||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), chopped (80 ml)|
Mix together in bowl, egg yolks, oil, honey and bananas.
Add cream of tartar, soda and flour.
This should be a thick batten Add nuts.
Mix 1/3 of egg whites with batter; gently fold in remaining egg whites.
Pour batter into lightly greased 8x8-inch or loaf pan.
Bake at 350°F (180°C) for about 50 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
