Southern Clam Chowder

Ingredients
  Salt pork 4 Ounce, diced
  Potatoes 4 Medium, diced
  Chopped clams with liquid 1 Pint
  Flour 3 Tablespoon
  Water 2 Quart
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Crisp bacon bits 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Onions 2 Large, chopped
Directions

Fry out salt pork and bacon.
Add onion and saute'.
Add flour.
Cook and stir until flour is brown.
Add water, salt, pepper and potatoes.
Cook until potatoes are mushy; add clams and liquid.
Simmer about 10 minutes.
