Ingredients
  Sugar 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Shortening 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Buttermilk 1 Quart
  Bran buds 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Salt 5 Teaspoon
  Eggs 4
  Soda 5 Teaspoon
  Flour 5 Cup (80 tbs)
  Diced dates 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Bake at 375° for 19 minutes in greased muffin tins.
Can store extra batter in Tupperware in refrigerator up to 2 weeks
