Microwaved Seafood Newburg
|All purpose flour||2 Tablespoon|
|Celery salt||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Onion powder||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Pepper white||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Garlic powder||1 Dash|
|Half and half||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Cooked lump crabmeat/Lobster/ scallops / shrimp||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dry sherry||2 Tablespoon|
|Baked patty shells||2|
1. Place butter or margarine in a deep 1 quart casserole with lid. Microwave at 100% (high) 30 seconds or until melted. Stir in flour, celery salt, paprika, onion powder, white pepper and garlic powder. Microwave at 100% (high) 30 seconds.
2. Whisk in half and half. Microwave at 100% (high) 3-1/2 to 4-1/2 minutes or until thickened and bubbly; stir every 1 minute. Mixture should be thick and smooth.
3. Stir in seafood and sherry; blend well. Cover and microwave at 100% (high) 1-1/2 to 2 minutes or until heated through; stir once. Serve in patty shells.
