Simple Cherry Cobbler
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Milk||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Canned cherry pie filling||20 Ounce (1 No. 2 Can)|
Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg; mix well.
Blend in milk.
Combine dry ingredients; add to butter mixture.
Spread half of batter in greased 8-inch-round container; cover with 1/4 can pie filling.
Spread with remaining batter; top with remaining filling.
Bake in 375 Â°F oven 30 minutes or until done.
