|Onions||2 Small, peeled and sliced|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|White vinegar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Pickling spices||3 Teaspoon|
|Turmeric powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Slice zucchini and onions; cover with water and add salt.
Let stand 3 hours.
Combine remaining ingredients; bring to boil.
Pour over slices and let stand for 2 hours; then bring syrup and slices to a boil for 5 minutes.
Pack in sterilized jars and seal hot.
