Microwave Monkey Bread With Caramel Sauce - Mug Bread Recipe

Easy and fast monkey bread in the microwave. Easily whip up a single serving or make a double batch for 2! All the flavor of classic monkey bread but at the fraction of the time or cost.

Ingredients

Dough:
Warm water 2 Tablespoon ((not exceeding 110 degrees))
Yeast 1/4 Teaspoon
Unbleached flour 5 Tablespoon
Salt 1 Pinch
Cinnamon sugar To Taste
Caramel sauce:
Salted butter 1 Tablespoon
Brown sugar 2 Tablespoon

Directions

MAKING:

1. In a bowl, mix the water and yeast. Set aside for 5 minutes if not using instant yeast.

2. Stir in the flour and salt until it becomes smooth and comes together. Set aside for 15 minutes.

3. Roll out thumb pieces of the dough and roll each one in cinnamon sugar. Set aside.

4. In the mug you'll be microwaving in, stir the butter and brown sugar together. Microwave for 1 minute {the timing for my 700 watt microwave, adjust accordingly}.

5. Plop in your dough balls and microwave for an additional minute.

SERVING:

6. Allow to set for a few minutes then serve. Enjoy!
