I'm a bit obsessed with cookies and cream anything! I think it's the nostalgia of it since it was one of my favorite flavor combinations as a kid. There is just something about crushed oreos and vanilla!
This cookies and cream cake starts with a simple white cake batter that compliments the crushed Oreos so well!! The Oreo buttercream frosting is the icing on the cake! It's reminiscent of the cream inside of an Oreo.
I was so tempted to put a chocolate fudge layer in between this cake but I thought that would just be so wrong!
3 Cup (48 tbs), sifted
1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened
1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
2 Cup (32 tbs)
3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
Heavy whipping cream
1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
5 (beaten to soft peaks)
