Betty's Bacon-Wrapped Lit'l Smokies -- Easter

Betty demonstrates how to make Bacon-Wrapped Litl Smokies for Easter. This is a sweet and salty finger-food appetizer.

Ingredients

Smokies 12 Ounce
Bacon strip 12
Dark brown sugar To Taste

Directions

Making

Cut bacon strips in thirds. Wrap bacon around cocktail smokie, and secure with a toothpick. 

Place each one in a baking pan or on a broiler pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar. 

Bake at 325 degrees (F) for about 40 minutes. 

If extra crispness of bacon is desired, move pan to upper oven rack and turn oven to broil for a very short amount of time. 

Serving

Remove from oven and immediately transfer to serving dish. Serve while warm.
