Wisconsin Fried Cheese

Ingredients
  Egg whites 2
  Water 1 Tablespoon
  Gouda cheese slice/Edam cheese slice 8 , cut 0.5 inch thick
  Dry bread crumbs/Cracker crumbs 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Margarine 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Beat egg whites and water until frothy.
Dip cheese slices into beaten egg whites, then into dry bread crumbs.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Heat about 1/2 inch deep margarine in heavy skillet over moderate heat.
Quickly fry cheese until golden brown on both sides takes only minutes.
