Patriot Dessert & Drink

Celebrate this 4th of July with a fun and patriotic chocolate covered pretzel along with a light and refreshing drink.

Ingredients

For patriot dessert
Pretzel sticks 25 ((use long))
White chocolate 16 Ounce
Sprinkles 6 Ounce ((2
For patriot drink
Lemon lime soda 4 Ounce
Vodka 1 Ounce ((just use if making adult version)) (Optional)
Mixed berries 50 Gram ((Raspberries & Blueberries as needed))

Directions

For Patriot Dessert:

MAKING

1. Fill a medium size saucepan with 1-2 inches of water and place over low heat, bring to a simmer.

2. Place a heat proof bowl on top of the simmering water making sure that the bowl does not touch the water. Add white chocolate into the heat proof bowl and stir until chocolate is just melted. 

3. Coat pretzel sticks with melted chocolate, about ¾ of the way up. Then roll them in the sprinkles. Place the pretzels on parchment paper and set aside to harden.

 

SERVING

4. Serve and enjoy!

 

TIPS

Place in the refrigerator for chocolate to harden quickly

 

For Patriot Drink:

MAKING

1. Fill a glass with ice and pour lemon lime soda. For adult version add vodka.

2. Garnish with raspberries and blueberries.

 

SERVING

3. Serve immediately and enjoy!
