Amaretto Fruit Medley
|Sliced almonds||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Fresh nectarines||6 , pitted and sliced|
|Oranges||2 Medium, peeled and sectioned|
|Fresh plums||2 , pitted and sliced|
|Amaretto||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1. Combine almonds and sugar in a small nonstick skillet; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, 20 minutes or until sugar melts and coats almonds. Let cool. Break almond mixture into small chunks.
2. Place fruit in a large bowl; pour amaretto over fruit mixture, and toss gently. Cover and chill thoroughly. Spoon evenly into 10 compotes. Top evenly with almond mixture.
