Avocado Almond Pinwheels
|Avocado almond spread||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sandwich bread loaf||1 (Unsliced)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), softened|
Prepare Avocado-Almond Spread.
Trim crusts from bread.
Cut 3 lengthwise slices about 1/2 inch thick. (Reserve remainder of loaf for other use.)
Flatten each slice slightly with a rolling pin.
Spread each slice with butter.
Then spread to edges with Avocado-Almond Spread.
Starting at one of narrow edges, roll up each slice tightly, being careful to keep ends of roll even.
Secure with wooden picks.
Wrap rolls individually in aluminum foil or other moisture-vapor-proof material.
Chill several hours before serving.
When ready to serve, remove wooden picks and cut the rolls crosswise into1/2 inch slices.
