Orange Almond Trout
|Trout fillets||1 Pound|
|Sliced almonds||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Medium, sliced|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Oranges||2 , pared and sectioned|
If fish fillets are large, cut into 5 serving pieces.
Cook and stir almonds and onion in margarine in 10-inch skillet until onion is tender; remove with slotted spoon and keep warm.
Mix flour, salt, paprika and pepper.
Coat fish with flour mixture.
Cook fish in same skillet over medium heat, turning carefully, until brown, about 10 minutes.
Top with almonds and onion; garnish with orange sections.
