Fried Almond Rice
|Long grain white rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Consomme||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Water||1⁄2 Can (5 oz)|
|Blanched toasted almonds||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1. In frying pan brown rice in butter until lightly brown.
2. In a saucepan boil consomme and water gradually add rice and bring to boil without covering.
3. Lower heat, simmer for 20 minutes, covered and donot peek.
4. Add almonds and serve immediately.
