|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Unbalanced almonds||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), finely-chopped|
|All purpose flour||1 Tablespoon|
1)In a bowl, beat egg whites until stiff but not dry.
2)Add sugar, about 2 tablespoons at a time, beating well after each addition.
3)Add salt, vanilla, almonds and flour and mix well.
4)Take a lightly-floured baking sheet and drop spoonsful on it, about 2 inches apart.
5)Bake at 325 degrees for 15 to 17 minutes.
6)Remove from baking sheet while still warm.
7)Serve the almond snowdrifts when desired.
