Frozen Almond Dessert

Ingredients
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Flour 2 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Eggs 2
  Light corn syrup 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Vanilla 1 Tablespoon
  Butter 1 Teaspoon
  Milk 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Cream 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Almond flavoring 1 Teaspoon
  Blanched almonds 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finely chopped
  Red candied cherries 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
Directions

MAKING
1) In a double boiler, add sugar and flour. Stir in the eggs, 1/4 cup water and corn syrup.
2) Cook, stirring constantly, till thick.
3) Add in the vanilla and butter and cool.
4) Add in the milk, cream, and almond flavoring.
5) Pour into 2 refrigerator trays.
6) Freeze till the consistency of slush.
7) Beat in the almonds and cherries.
8) Freeze till firm.

SERVING
9) Serve garnished with shaved almonds.
